A new technology insulating material for terraces. Reduces energy consumption (cooling/heating). Certified product of low thermal conductivity and high reflectivity, by the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (KAPE) and the University of Athens
Uses
- Terraces before the Neoroof® waterproofing coatings
- Before the Silatex® Reflect reflective wall paint
- Metallic surfaces
Properties & advantages
- Thermal insulation material of low thermal conductivity and high reflectivity
- It has 5 times lower (l) than concrete and 4 times lower than common paints, preventing heat transfer from the outside to the inside of the building. The combination of the low thermal conductivity of Neotherm® and the damp-proofing provided by Neoroof®, Silatex® Reflect, reduces the feeling of cold in winter and helps to cover thermal bridges that may have been created by the construction of the building.
- It contains a very high percentage of microspheres. Even if applied under a common paint, it has the property of radiating the heat generated by the surface to the environment
- It absorbs the heat that eventually develops on the surface and dissipates it in the evening hours, when the temperature drops, achieving the maximum possible thermal insulation effect in summer
- It covers the capillary cracks and protects the structural elements (e.g. plasters on polystyrene) from temperature changes, prolonging their lifetime
- Further improves the thermal insulation properties of Neoroof® and Silatex® Reflect
- Certified material of low thermal conductivity and high reflectivity and emissivity by the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources
- By adding Neotherm® at a rate of 10-15% to the roof coatings, the coefficient of thermal conductivity (λ) is reduced and the reflectivity of the final coating is significantly improved.
