If you want to paint a piece of furniture that has embossed decoration, one way to highlight the carvings is to paint the surface with coloured varnish to give an aged effect.
First you will need to paint the furniture with chalk paint and then after it dries you will need two varnishes:
The
DECORATORS VARNISH
is the transparent varnish that seals and protects the surface and the
WAX FINISH VARNISH
from Polyvine that can decorate surfaces as it is available in seven shades.
